R中的每个对象都被分配一个类。您可以class()用来查找对象的类并str()查看其结构，包括它包含的类。例如：

我们看到虹膜具有类，data.frame并且使用它str()可以检查内部数据。与其他数字类变量相比，虹膜数据框中的“种类”变量属于类因子。该str()函数还提供了变量的长度并显示了前两个观察值，而该class()函数仅提供了对象的类。
